The Center for Applied Phenomenological Research represents a group of scholars from a variety of departments at The University of Tennessee.

Affiliates with the center have come from such fields as psychology, philosophy, literature, nursing, business and forestry to name a few. Our center focuses on utilizing phenomenological and other qualitative methods to gain a better understanding of human experience in its various manifestations.
